Lead Acid Battery Chargers
YEG Powerline has Lead Acid Battery Chargers available up to IP67 rating and rugged for out door applications. Intelligent 3 stage CI-CV-float and high rate charging. Custom design and manufacture available.
The features required from a battery charger vary depending on the application. Options to consider are:
- Low Battery Disconnect (LBD) - feature prevents deep discharge of battery
- Battery temperature compensation
- Charger fail or Low battery alarm
- Delayed output switch when connecting / disconnecting battery
- Ruggedised
- Water proof IP rating
- Intelligent battery charging regime - best compromise between charging time and battery lifetime
In addition to standard features and safety approvals; Powerline can provide battery chargers with some or all of the above.
